Rines Wetlands & Wildlife Preserve, Waterville Rd, Unity, ME, USA
About The Event
Bird life abounds along this trail at Rines Preserve on the west side of Bog Brook. The timing will allow us to enjoy
arriving spring migrants before the foliage dominates the view. The round-trip walk is a mile and a half and departs from the trailhead parking lot on Rt. 139 2.3 miles west of Main St. in Unity. SRLT board member Tom Aversa will lead the walk. All are welcome but please leave the pets at home. To more fully enjoy the walk, binoculars will be indispensable. Although the trail is dry, wear waterproof footwear for muddy spots and early morning dew. For more property information, visit www.sebasticookrlt.org/rines. Please practice tick safety (long pants, socks). Participation is limited so please pre-register.
